New Gaming technology unveiled at E3 games show

Major players in the gaming industry are out in force this week at the E3 games show in Los Angeles to unveil their latest technology.
Yesterday (June 15th) Nintendo president Saturo Iwata showed the world its first 3D console, 3DS.
Expected to be on sale by the end of the year, the dual-screen handheld player does not require glasses, but can still show 3D images.
Microsoft also announced its new gaming system, a slimmer and more powerful version of the Xbox 360.
In addition it also revealed its rival to the Nintendo Wii, a hands-free, motion sensor gaming device called Kinect for the Xbox console, designed for the family market.
Meanwhile, Sony, makers of PS3, released its new 3D and motion-controller systems.
The PlayStation Move is two controllers that will work similarly to the Wii remotes, but the PS3s are also set to be updated with 3D software, compatible with the 20 planned 3D games to be released next year.
According to the BBC, a number of people in the technology gaming industry in the UK launched their latest products at the event.
