XBox 360 Elite 250GB Model Displayed on Amazon
From the website that leaked the PS3 Slim, comes the enlarged Xbox 360
While Microsoft is still concentrating on its Xbox 360 Elite price cut, Xbox 360 Arcade price rise and Xbox 360 Pro extermination, there’s another model on the horizon that might convince you to stay your hand from your wallet for the time being. A posting on Amazon Germany (now removed) has revealed an unannounced Xbox 360 Elite with a 250GB HDD and bundled with Forza 3.
Even with the 120GB Xbox 360 now down to £199, Sony’s new £250 PS3 Slim also packs a 120GB HDD, so Microsoft may be hoping to get one over on Sony ahead of Christmas by upping the hard disc size considerably. Coincidentally, Sony has also been rumoured to be planning a 250GB PS3 Slim model in due course.
Amazon Germany is enjoying a good run of leaking console news early, having accurately spoiled the PS3 Slim announcement. The website hasn’t put a launch date on the Elite 250GB, but the Forza 3 bundle does leave a clue: Forza 3 isn’t due out until late October.
Microsoft is keeping mum though, so don’t get too attached until we get the official nod.
