Last year, Amazon.com launched an iPhone App. It was followed by Blackberry App which was announced months ago. Both are intended to make online shopping easy and hassle-free. Now, here’s another mobile shopping application designed for Google’s Android platform. Amazon App for Android, which is now available as a free download to a consumer’s device in Android Market, offers consumers a fast and convenient way to shop on Amazon.com and from thousands of other merchants – wherever they go.

The application includes the experimental Amazon Remembers feature, which enables shoppers to either snap a photo of an item or scan a barcode to receive a product match. Once you found the product you are looking for, you can purchase it using Amazon’s 1-Click ordering and Amazon Prime
