Facebook Gets Indian Taste!

Saturday, May 09, 2009:  English may be referred to as a 'global language', but now a number of companies are going the extra mile to woo Indian’s online users with very specific products and services. This also holds true for one of the most popular social networking sites Facebook, which has launched its services in Indian languages.

Facebook has announced that they are now supporting Indian languages on the social networking service. Now Facebook users can navigate in Hindi, Tamil and other regional Indian languages such as Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam and Telugu.
