Halo: Reach, Multiplayer Tease

Bungie loves to tease us. Countdowns are its forte. Weekly updates with snippets of hints that could mean anything are common. In fact, just today we got another near meaningless hint in the studio's weekly update. It seems the team has recently gone through a group-wide multiplayer play test. Naturally, nobody is willing to talk about it. Those expecting something new for Halo: Reach's multiplayer, however, might have reason to get excited.

After a small, technical interview with a few team members, the update offers this tease:
So what exactly did we play? Something you would expect, something you should expect, and something so new it came with instructions. And yes, David Allen, I did make sure to pop into the [redacted] to check out the new [redacted]. And why yes, it was sweet.
So new that it requires instructions? And something we should expect? Sounds like there will be a bit of the old and a bit of the new in Halo: Reach. It doesn't appear, however, that Halo: Reach will be a drastic departure from past Halo games in terms of its multiplayer structure
