Sony has PS3 Slim Production on agenda?
The long-rumoured PS3 Slim seems to be on the cusp of an official announcement following a dramatic uptick in the amount of speculation surrounding the updated console. Although the internet has been buzzing about a possible scaled-down model for over a year, it was only this weekend that Amazon.de let slip the existence of the PS3 ‘Konsole Slim’, before promptly removing all trace of it.
Now other sources are apparently confirming the rumour; Taiwanese tech industry newspaper, DigiTimes, is reporting a surge in demand for PS3 components – enough to make a million extra consoles in the next quarter alone.
