3 Wireless Router Dongle Price

Web on the go without a dongle

Network provider 3 has revealed the pricing for its mobile router which lets you access a wireless network from any location, with more than one device at the same time.
The battery powered router which is smaller than your average mobile phone can connect to 3's 3G data service with up to five devices simultaneously. That means you can browse a webpage on your netbook while downloading a game on your PSP, all on the same connection.
3 is offering the router in two plans, the first ‘Broadband 5GB 1 month’ which gives you a one month contract which includes 5GB of data and will cost you £15 per month with the router costing you £69.99.
Alternatively the ‘Ready to Go’ gives you 3GB data to be used over 3 months, after when used up, works like a pay as you go system would for your mobile phone, enabling you to top up the service. This package also includes the router and will set you back £99.99.
Taking a different approach from the usual dongle route to mobile broadband, the Wi-Fi router gives you up to 5 hours battery life and the handy addition of a microSD slot. Just as you would with your home network, the wireless signal is encrypted and requires a password to get connected.
You can get your portable router online from the 17th September, or pick one up from your local 3 store on the 18th September.
