Former Rolling Stones band Member; Bill Wyman Slams Guitar Hero

Whining Wyman can't get no satisfaction from virtual rock.
Ex-Rolling Stones star Bill Wyman has hit out at music games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero claiming they prevent youngsters becoming dedicated to learning a real instrument.
"It encourages kids not to learn, that's the trouble," said the latest unenlightened aging rocker to express his displeasure. "It makes less and less people dedicated to really get down and learn an instrument. I think is a pity so I'm not really keen on that kind of stuff."
Wyman's comments will ensure that the eternal debate, sparked by the virtual rock revolution, will kick off again. Led Zep and Pink Floyd aren't fans, yet Kirk Hammett of Metallica believes a generation of new musicians will be sown from the humble seeds of a plastic axe.
One thing is for sure, with Guitar Hero 5 available on Friday and Beatles Rock Band on sale from tomorrow (September 9th), the phenomenon isn't going away any time soon.
