Apple Drops Prices for iPod Nano & Touch

Well isn't this a nice little surprise for your Wednesday morning. Apple has dropped the prices of both the iPod Nano and the iPod Touch. The company also lopped a little off the price of an iPod Classic too.
In what's probably an attempt to sell off the old and make room for the new, Apple has cut the price of the iPod Touch, the iPod Nano and the iPod Classic. The 32 GB iPod Touch has gone from $400 to just $280, while the 16 GB and 8 GB versions have dropped to $250 and $190 (down from $300 and $230) respectively.
The 16 GB Nano has gone from $200 to $150 while the 8 GB model is now $130, down from $150. The iPod Classic has gone from $250 to $230.
The price cuts come on the same day that Apple is expected to announce a new camera-equipped iPod Touch and Nano. However, if the reaction in the comments is anything to go by, not too many of you are keen on the idea of an MP3 player with a camera, at least when it comes to the Nano. Given the choice, which would you purchase? Let us know in the comments below!
