Samsung is at it again..! To all Samsung LED TV fans out there, here’s one great news for you: Samsung will be introducing a new addition to its home entertainment gadgets, particularly to the LED TV line – the 8500 Series Local-Dimming LED TV. Yes, it’s the local dimming this year for Samsung with its first set of LED-backlit LCDs. And there’s more, it also includes a Yahoo widget engine so you can stream video to the max. Combining excellent picture quality, connectivity, and style, the Samsung 8500 Series Local-Dimming LED TVs will be available in two models, the 46-inch class and the 55-inch class. Both will be available on September 2009, so watch out for them!

Picture Quality – Samsung used a different backlight source for the 8500 Series, this time with white LEDs, making it capable of a stunning 7,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for image depth and extreme detail. It also features a Wide Color Enhancer Pro to make sure that you see only vibrant colors and an Ultra Clear Panel for you to experience improved image clarity and brightness.

Connectivity – Featuring Samsung’s Medi@2.0ä suite, the 8500 Series allows you to access content from more sources unlike before. Now, you can watch online videos, TV programs, and other web-based content right into your HDTV. With just a single push of a button, the widgets-based interface and scrollbar are activated so it will be easy for you to browse the latest content and programs available.

Style – Samsung’s line of LED TV boasts design that truly stands out. And the 8500 Series is no different. What makes it unique though is that awesome looking blue stick holding it up.
