Nokia N97 Mini just around the corner
Finns look set to downsize their flagship handset
With Nokia World just around the corner, and the vicious rumour mill picking up momentum, we were still a little suprised to see the Nokia N97 Mini handset fall into the hands of someone already.
The guys at Mobile Review have managed to get an early first look at the scaled-down N97 which has yet to be announced by Nokia, suggesting that it will be in the Nokia showcase come next week.
Speculation about the Nokia N97 Mini heated up just a day after the N97 was officially released, which in its miniature size looks to have had around a centimetre skimmed from the original model.
Details are sparse at the moment, but from the look of the pictures, the keyboard looks something of a shoddier affair than its predecessor, while the 5-megapixel camera appears to still be in tact.
This growing trend of rehashing current models with the odd one or two tweaks, appears to be the name of the game for Nokia at the moment, but the very fact that the ‘Mini’ has surfaced early, may suggest that the best is yet to come from next week's conference.
