Nokia N900 tablet Released

Linux powerhouse officially outed.
Nokia is ramping up the product announcements ahead of next week's Nokia World expo with the latest being confirmation of its new powerhouse N900 internet tablet.
The N900, which is being marketed as a tablet rather than a phone despite its aesthetic similarities to the N97, features a 3.5-inch QVGA touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, HSPA, Wi-Fi and a massive 32GB of storage (expandable to 48GB with a microSD card).
The device will run on the Maemo Linux-based OS, boast a 5-megapixel camera, and will have the ARM Cortex-A8 processor that gave the Palm Pre and the iPhone 3GS a touch of the Usain Bolts.
It also fully supports Adobe Flash 9.4, amping up your ability to watch a range of online video and with 1GB of application memory and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration this could really be one of the most graphically impressive gadgets we've seen in a while.
In a break from Nokia's tradition of announcing top-end tech and making us wait until it's almost low-end, the N900 could be available as soon as October although no official UK network and pricing have been announced just yet.
We'll be at Nokia World next week, when the N900 gets its first public airing, and we'll be sure to let you know our first hands-on impressions. We'll also be keeping our eyes peeled for the Booklet 3G and 5230 touchscreen handset.
